I have little over 50000 Cim living in my city and I really like it (though feel the vibe to make a new town/city). I have 7 small forest tiles. Population so small I can not have trains or cargo hubs. There are issues with Industries DLC storage buildings in the current patch, but that's a red herring because zoned industry buildings can import their own materials if the warehouses are too busy.
